What a desasterous morning,waking up at four in the morning and woken up at six after a long nights work was not the plan.

The fishing gear was loaded and just had to get going,the drive is about one hour but fishing was on the menue and that is just what was going to happen.

Arriving at Harties we eventually foun ourselves a spot,i believe not the best but parked and offloaded our goods and started the preperations for the days fishing.

Talking to the other anglers Harties is not as easy as the Vaaldam because the fish are realitivelly near in the early mornings and very deep afterwards.

I must add that the company and sitting and chatting was great but the fishing was nothing to actually talk about.

A couple of very small carp came out and the basic flavours was Bananna Delight with banana micro floaties and sweet white dough.

Tripple trouble a cinnamon mix with Asem a Almond mix basically did the trick.

Back to this venue is a must.The anglers do catch some nice carp at Harties in the summer months.
